Behind ArcadeBot

I’m Juan Sebastián Guzmán, the creator behind ArcadeBot. I make videos and write guides about comics, video games, and the characters whose stories stay with us long after we first discover them.

The person behind the robot

I’m a Colombian content creator with a background in advertising and UX writing. Working with words has taught me how to organize information and make complicated ideas easier to understand. At ArcadeBot, I bring that approach to the stories I enjoy exploring as a fan.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has a special place here. Its comics, TV shows, movies, games, and collectibles offer different ways to revisit familiar characters. I’m interested in those connections: how an origin changes, what an adaptation carries forward, and which details help a story make sense.

What you’ll find at ArcadeBot

  • Character histories: origins, alternate versions, and the creators behind them.
  • Comics and adaptations: comparisons and reading guides that help you navigate different series and continuities.
  • Games and pop culture: guides, music, trivia, and stories worth revisiting.
  • Collectibles and community: action figures, fan events, and conversations with people who share these interests.

The YouTube channel and this website complement each other. A video tells a story from beginning to end; an article gives you a place to look up a detail, compare versions, and follow useful links. Explore the guide to Master Splinter’s different origins or browse the TMNT section.

How I approach a story

I want these stories to be approachable even if you’re meeting a character for the first time. That means explaining unfamiliar terms, identifying which continuity we’re discussing, and making room for personal interpretation without confusing it with the story itself. Nostalgia brings us together, and curiosity gives us something new to talk about.
